The Soaring Eagle is a group for Wiccans that may sometimes feel that it surely would be nice if there were others with similar beliefs that he or she could confide in, to work out problems that they may be having. Whether it concerns a ritual, supplies, work or just everyday life. Whatever you need you can find it here with the help of our members.
I am a Wiccan from Tampa, FL. I started to Soaring Eagle for several reasons. First, have you ever noticied that with every religion there is a group, a large group, whether it is Christian, Katholic or Buddhism. I personally feel like such a minority in my own world. Yet, Wiccans are growing, there is probably more of us then even you may even think, but how would you know? We practicaly hide from one another. A concept I have yet to figure out.

So why are we forced to mark "other" for religious preference. Please, don't get me wrong, I am not trying to start a war. I thought to myself it would be nice to get on line and chat with people that have one very important thing in common with. I could just ask advice and get a good, honest, intelligant response from one of our members. Second reason is, Do you ever wish to be able to get together with other Wiccans, whether it be to just talk, eat or even practice some larger "progects" that you believe you need help with.

As Wiccans, we are friendly and kind by Nature. That does not mean quite and submissive. We need to band together and not be a minority anymore!
